Karthi to have dual roles in PS Mithran film

It is known that Karthi will next team up with PS Mithran for a film. Now, sources in the know tell us that Karthi will be playing dual roles in it. Notably, the last time Karthi played two roles was in the 2016-film Kaashmora. The rest of the cast and crew of the upcoming film are not known yet.

Karthi is currently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s adaptation of Ponniyin Selvan in Thailand. The actor is part of a huge ensemble cast comprising Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, and Ashwin Kakamunu. The Kaatru Veliyidai actor, who was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi, also has a film with Bakkiyaraj Kannan in the pipeline.  

PS Mithran, on the other hand, just saw the release of his second film Hero, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Abhay Deol, and Kalyani Priyadarshan, which is running successfully in theatres.
