When it was expected that Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth would turn out to be political rivals soon, the converse seems to be happening. The two stars have been exhibiting adorable camaraderie lately, which has led to a rumour that the duo might team up for the upcoming state election.

Now, it is also speculated that Rajinikanth is going to act in a film under Kamal’s production banner -Raaj Kamal Films International.

Logesh Kanagaraj, who is basking in the success of Kaithi and busy directing Vijay in Thalapathy 64, is rumoured to be the director of this Rajini-Kamal project. The young director recently met the Superstar at his residence in Poes Garden.

It is expected that an official announcement about the film will be made at the audio launch of Rajinikanth’s Darbar.
