Team Kotigobba 3 wraps talkie portions and gears up for songs

Sudeep is busy juggling between Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7 and Kotigobba 3. Though the makers have not made any announcements about the film’s progress, we have learned that the actor has finished shooting the climax portions in Bengaluru, with that completing the film's talkie portions. The team now has three songs left to shoot and has headed to Puducherry for the first of these. The shooting for the other two songs will take place in Mumbai and Bengaluru, respectively.

Kotigobba 3, with a story penned by Sudeep himself, marks the directorial debut of Shiva Karthik. Madonna Sebastian plays the female lead in the film, which has an ensemble cast that includes actors like Sudhanshu Pandey, Aftab Shivdasani, Shraddha Das, Ravi Shankar, and Tabla Nani. 

Shot in many foreign locations, including Serbia, Thailand and Malaysia, Kotigobba 3 is produced by Surappa Babu. It has music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Shekar Chandru.

Meanwhile, Sudeep is gearing up for the release of Dabangg 3, in which he stars alongside Salman Khan. The Hindi film, directed by Prabhudeva, will be simultaneously released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. The distribution of the Kannada version has been taken up by Manjunath Gowda.

Sudeep also has another project in the pipeline, for which he is joining hands with director Anup Bhandari and Manjunath Gowda. This film is said to be titled Phantom. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
