James Wan to produce horror film, The Troop

The man synonymous with horror films these days, James Wan, is all set to produce one more such movie called The Troop. The film, based on the book of the same name by Nick Cutter, revolves around a group of teenagers, who, at a camping trip find that they have to fend for themselves after their adult chaperone falls prey to an aggressive otherworldly infection.

Wan will be backing the project through his Atomic Monster banner. Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald will be adapting the screenplay and El Katz will be directing the movie. 

Wan is currently producing The Conjuring 3 and Mortal Kombat while he is all set to return as director with Aquaman 2. The director-producer also has two series in the pipeline, I Know What You Did Last Summer (producer) and The Magic Order (executive producer and pilot episode director).
