Rami Malek joins the cast of James Bond 25, to play the primary antagonist

It is now confirmed that Academy Award-winning actor, Rami Malek, will be playing the antagonist in the next James Bond film. 

In an announcement on social media,  producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson announced the cast of James Bond 25, which will feature Daniel Craig's fifth and final appearance as the British spy. 

Actors Ana De Armas, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, and Billy Magnussen join the cast of the Cary Fukunaga directorial.

The announcement was made via a live-stream from Jamaica. Most of the cast members were in attendance, with the exception of Malek, who recorded a message from New York.

He said: "I promise you all I will be making sure Mr. Bond does not have an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing."

The film will also see the return of actors Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Whishaw. It is scheduled to release in April 2020.
