Karunya Ram to have extended cameo in Manju Swaraj’s horror comedy

Film set to start shoot from today has Sruthi Hariharan in the lead, along with child artiste Prashvitha and top comedians

Director Manju Swaraj’s upcoming project will have Sruthi Hariharan instilling fear in the audience while also tickling their funny bones in a horror comedy. Joining her will be heroine, Karunya Ram, who is said to play an extended cameo during a scene involving a flashback and another one where she will feature in a song. Produced by SV Babu, the yet to be titled film will start shooting from today. The film also marks the debut of child artiste, Prashvitha. Popular for her dubsmash videos this young talent has been a sensation on social media.

The film also has Giri, senior actor Shivaram and other top comedians of Sandalwood including Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna,  Kuri Pratap and Ravi Shankar Gowda. Karunya says, “I missed out on working in a film with SV Babu. Thankfully this film is associating with the producer. The makers are coming up with a song with a huge set, which shoot is being planned for around August,” she says.

The film has music by Abhimann Roy, who previously scored music for Taj Mahal. Suresh Babu will be the film’s cinematographer.
