Mohanlal looks unrecognisable in Kayamkulam Kochunni

Mohanlal's first look from Kayamkulam Kochunni, as Ithikkarapakki, was released by the actor via his Twitter handle without much ado. The film marks the first onscreen collaboration between the star and Nivin Pauly. 

The pictures from the period film feature Mohanlal in a rustic look sporting brown coloured attire, with a bottle in his hand. The hero of the film, Nivin Pauly, also shared the first look on his Twitter handle; and the pictures have been creating quite a buzz on social media.

Interestingly, Mohanlal was trending in December for his young getup in Odiyan- which was revealed in that film's motion poster. 

The veteran actor started shooting for Kayamkulam Kochunni on Wednesday, in Mangalore. According to reliable sources, Mohanlal's role, though a cameo, will be an important one. 

The film is based on the life of Kayamkulam Kochunni, a real-life Robinhood who stole from the rich and gave it to the poor. Nivin Pauly plays the titular role in the film that also stars Priya Anand, Priyanka Thimmesh, and Sunny Wayne.
