HD Kumaraswamy on the sets Nikhil Kumar’s Seetharama Kalyana

The former Chief Minister visited the sets of his son Nikhil Gowda's new film

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy visited the sets of his son Nikhil’s upcoming film, Seetharama Kalyana, in between his political campaign. The film is directed by A Harsha. The politician has his roots in cinema as a producer and distributor, and the project with his son is currently being made under their home banner Channambika Productions. CE got hold of a few pictures of Kumarswamy interacting with his son. He is said to have spent quality time with the entire team.

“He watched the first rushes of the film, for which we've completed 10 days of shoot, and is happy with the way it’s shaping up. He is pleased with his son’s choice in scripts,” says Sunil Gowda, executive producer of the film.

The actor debuted with Jaguar, and then took up Abhimanyu’s role in Kurukshetra. His third film, Seetharama Kalyana, is a family drama. The film, which features Rachita Ram as the female lead, also stars Chikkanna and Sarath Kumar. Music for the film is by Ravi Basrur and cinematography is by Swamy.
