Salman Khan shoots in Sonamarg for Race 3

Salman Khan reached the picturesque Sonamarg hill station in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday for a two-day shoot of the Remo D'Souza-directorial Race 3.The action-packed thriller is being produced jointly by Ramesh S Taurani and the actor himself.

Besides Salman, Race 3 will also feature Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. Like all of the actor's films, Race 3 is scheduled to be released coinciding with the Eid festival on June 15.

Salman is likely to shoot for the film in Ladakh region after completing the schedule in Sonamarg. This is the second time he has visited the hill station for a film's shoot. He spent over a fortnight in Sonamarg last time while shooting for Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Sonamarg has always been a favourite shooting spot for Bollywood films. Raj Kapoor's Ram Teri Ganga Meli and Yash Chopra's Silsila are some of the well-known films shot in Sonamarg.
