Nikhil Kumar is on the sets of Munirathna’s Kurukshetra, shooting for which will be completed this week. The actor will be seen as Abhimanyu in this magnum opus. So what next from the actor? CE has an interesting bit of news on this front.

Nikhil, in one of his earlier interviews, had spoken about working with director A Harsha, and now, the project seems to have been finalised. This will be the actor’s next to go on floors. Apparently, Nikhil has had a few rounds of discussions with the director and then they decided on the storyline. The shooting will start by December, but neither the filmmaker nor the actor is willing to share details about the film’s subject.

As reported earlier, Nikhil likes Harsha’s style of filmmaking and was keen to work with him on a period drama about Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. Whether this will be same project, or if it will be a commercial entertainer are unknown. For these are details we have to wait for the official announcement from Channambika Productions or the director. This director-actor combination is new and we can expect a surprise from them. The team, we hear, is busy finalising the rest of the cast.

Meanwhile, Harsha is gearing up for the release of Anjaniputra, the much-awaited film starring Puneeth Rajkumar along with Rashmika Mandanna and Ramya Krishnan. This project is now in the post-production stage.
