Director Puri Jagannadh is making attempts to take his ambitious project Janaganamana on to the sets soon. The Temper director, who was embroiled in the drugs scandal, has recently announced his plans to begin Janaganamana early next year. The film which has an interesting tagline Love India – Hate Indians discusses a lot of issues including the drug scandal.

Initially, Puri wanted to rope in Mahesh Babu for the lead role but for reasons unknown, the superstar remained tight-lipped about the film. With Mahesh not making a statement, sources say Puri is on the lookout for another star, who can fit into the protagonist's role and is determined to make some changes to the script.
