Sanjay Dutt biopic to release during Eid 2018?

Rajkumar Hirani is currently busy completing the New York schedule of the Sanjay Dutt biopic with Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. The makers initially wanted to release the film around Christmas this year, along with Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai. Later, there were many reports suggesting that the film might release on Eid next year, and more recently, there was news that Ranbir and Hirani wanted it to be released in March. However, word now has it that the film will indeed be released during the Eid weekend next year. 
 
Incidentally Salman Khan’s ABCD 3, too, is slated to release on Eid next year, although he is yet to begin shooting for it. Remo D’ Souza recently announced that Salman will play the lead and Jacqueline Fernandez has been cast opposite him in the film.
