Asif Ali's Koththu trailer looks riveting

Sibi Malayil's comeback film Koththu is gearing up for release on September 23. Ahead of the release, the makers have shared the trailer. Starring Asif Ali and Roshan Mathew as the leads, it looks like a political film set in North Kerala. According to the makers, the film’s crux revolves around a human killing another which is another form of barbarism in a modern civilised society.

Koththu, scripted by Hemanth Kumar, also stars Nikhila Vimal, Sudev Nair, Ranjith, Suresh Krishna, and Vijilesh Karayad in supporting roles. The technical crew includes cinematographer Prashanth Raveendran, composers Jakes Bejoy and Kailas Menon.

It is produced by Ranjith and PM Sasidharan under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Picture Company.
