Jude Anthany Joseph's ambitious film, 2018, based on the devastating Kerala floods is gearing up to hit screens. The makers released its teaser on Monday in a grand launch event where Mammootty attended as the chief guest.
The 1.28-minute-long teaser has glimpses of how Keralites from various walks of society came together during the crisis period.
The film has a huge star cast led by Tovino Thomas, Narian, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kalaiyarasan, Lal, and Aparna Balamurali. Scripted by director Jude along with Akhil P Dharmajan, 2018 also stars Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Indrans, Gilu Joseph, Jaffer Idukki, Janardhanan, Siddique, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, and Gauthami Nair among others.
Its technical crew includes cinematographer Akhil George, music director Chaman Chacko, and editor Nobin Paul. The film is produced by Venu Kunnappilly, CK Padmakumar, and Anto Joseph.
