We see glimpses of the investigation, which takes a team from the Kerala police force to a notorious village in North India where they risk their lives to arrest the culprits. From the trailer, the film promises to be a gripping police procedural.

The film is scripted jointly by journalist Sreejith Divakaran and Sibi Thomas, a policeman who was the investigating officer in the real case. The film has cinematography by Suresh Rajan and editing by B Ajithkumar. Kuttavum Shikshayum is produced by Arun Kumar VR of Film Roll Productions.
