Gold makers dismiss release date rumours

Alphonse Puthren's comeback film Gold was originally slated for release this week for the Onam festival but it got postponed at the last minute due to delay in the completion of the post-production works.

Following the film's postponing, speculations were rife that the makers are keen on releasing it on September 15. But the producers have now confirmed that they will be announcing the release date officially only after getting the first copy in hand.

Gold stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead. He is also producing the film along with Listin Stephen's Magic Frames. Nayanthara, Lalu Alex, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinay Forrt, Jagadish, Baburaj, Shine Tom Chacko, Prem Kumar, Mallika Sukumaran, Shammi Thilakan, Deepti Sathi, Shanti Krishna, and Roshan Mathew are also part of the cast.
