Trailer release date of Mohanlal's Alone is here

The makers of Mohanlal's upcoming film Alone have announced that its trailer will be out on January 1. It has been planned to be released exactly on the stroke of New Year at 00.01 AM.

Directed by Shaji Kailas and scripted by Rajesh Jayaraman, Alone is a single-actor film set during the pandemic. The team had earlier shared a teaser in which Mohanlal introduces himself as Kalidas, who works in the Department of Universal Declaration of Human Rights United Nations. But with a lot of mystery in the teaser, it's not yet sure if his identity is real or not. While only Mohanlal appears on screen, actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran and Siddique have lent their voices to various characters.

Alone has Abhinandan Ramanujam and Pramod K Pillai as the cinematographers. The band 4 Musics, which earlier worked on Mohanlal's Oppam, has composed the music. Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas is backing the film.

Though Alone was initially planned as a direct OTT release, the makers are now eyeing a theatrical release. The release date is expected to be announced shortly.
