Kaapa: Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Asif Ali and Anna Ben team up for gangster drama

Veteran cinematographer and filmmaker Venu has assembled a dream ensemble cast for his upcoming full-length feature, Kaapa. 

Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Asif Ali and Anna Ben will headline the Thiruvananthapuram-based gangster drama based on renowned author Indugopan's story. The latter has also penned the screenplay and dialogues of the film.

Filmmaker-editor Mahesh Narayanan (CU Soon, Malik) is in charge of editing, and filmmaker-cinematographer Sanu John Varghese (Aarkariyaam, Malik) will be the cinematographer. Justin Varghese is working on the music.

Kaapa refers to KAAPA, the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, also known as the Goonda Act.

FEFKA Writers' Union is backing the film in association with Theatre of Dreams.
