SS Rajamouli appreciates Sudeep's Vikrant Rona

Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli took to Twitter to appreciate the Kannada's latest big-ticket release, Vikrant Rona, starring Sudeep in the lead role.

The RRR filmmaker wrote, "Congratulations Kiccha Sudeep on the success of Vikrant Rona. It takes guts and belief to invest on such a line. You did and it paid off."

The filmmaker appreciated the pre-climax of the film in particular. "Preclimax, the heart of the film was superb. Couldn’t  see that coming and it was too good. Special mention to Guddy's friend Bhaskar."

Responding to Rajamouli's words, Sudeep tweeted, "Thank you SS Rajamouli sir. Extremely honoured to hear these lines from you. A big thanks and a hug from all of us... including Bhaskar."

The actor and filmmaker earlier worked together in Eega (2012), which saw Sudeep as the main antagonist and Bahubali: The Beginning (2015), in which he played a cameo.

Vikrant Rona, directed by Anup Bhandari, co-stars Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ravishankar Gowda, and Madhusudan Rao to name few.
