A promo still of Forecasting Love and Weather

Forecasting Love and Weather is one of the many Korean dramas to premiere on Netflix in 2022. Unlike All of Us are Dead, this show will stream two new episodes every week and it will coincide with the broadcasting dates of the show in its home country on JTBC. The trailer of the show introduces Park Min-young as Jin Ha-kyung, a senior employee at Korea Meteorological Administration. Song Kang plays the role of her junior Lee Shi-woo.

The two of their ideas over how weather is forecast may clash as Ha-kyung believes in trusting facts and only that, while Shi-woo believes in trusting his gut instinct. The two of them must work together to avert some of the calamities that humans might face because of weather.

In this time, the two will hit it off as they work together in intense situations. This will give birth to romance in the office space. There may be jealousy too, as Yoon Park seems to play the second male lead in the show. Korean romance is known to milk the second lead syndrome -- which is when a secondary lead character develops feelings for the lead character, but they aren't reciprocated -- and this show may do the same.

Forecasting Love and Weather is directed by Cha Young-hoon, who is known for helming other hit K-Dramas such as When the Camellia Blooms and Are You Human, and is written by Sun Young.
