Atithi Bhooto Bhava trailer: Jackie Shroff is the ghost of Pratik Gandhi’s grandson in this rom-com

The trailer of Pratik Gandhi and Jackie Shroff-starrer Atithi Bhooto Bhava dropped in recently. The film is directed by Hardik Gajjar and will premiere on ZEE5 on September 23.

The trailer shows Pratik, playing a stand-up comedian named Srikant, who is visited by the ghost of his grandson played by Jackie Shroff. It intercuts between the love story of a sardar boy and a girl in 1975, and to the current time when Srikant and his partner Netra (Sharmin Sehgal) are having problems in their relationship. The conflict comes when Makhan Singh (Jackie Shroff) makes an appearance and claims to be Pratik’s grandson from a previous life.

The film had gone on floors in January of 2021 in Mathura. Pratik, who rose to popularity with the Sony LIV series Scam 1992, was last seen in Modern Love: Mumbai where he starred alongside Tanuja and Ranveer Brar in Hansal Mehta’s short.

He will also be essaying the role of Mahatma Gandhi in Hansal Mehta’s next web series.
