Vikram Vedha teaser: Hrithik’s menacing gangster clashes with Saif’s dutiful cop in this action thriller
The film, a remake of a Tamil film, is directed by Pushkar and Gayatri
The teaser of Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming action thriller Vikram Vedha dropped in on Wednesday. The film is a remake of a Tamil film of the same name. Both the original and the Hindi remake are helmed by director-duo Pushkar and Gayatri. The Tamil original, released in 2017, featured R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.
Vikram Vedha is slated to release on September 30.
The teaser opens up with Saif and Hrithik, as Vikram (a cop) and Vedha (a gangster) sitting at a table and facing each other. Hrithik begins to tell Saif a story and asks him to listen to it with ‘sabr and dhyaan’ (patience and concentration). As Hrithik’s Vedha continues the story we see flashbacks into the lives of the two antagonising forces. Rohit Saraf is also seen. Saif in its cop mode is on the trail of Vedha. He can be seen, ripped, sporting a white polo tshirt and wielding a gun. Hrithik as Vedha is also seen doing a lot of stunts and action sequences, one of which is firing an AK-47.
The film also stars Radhika Apte, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi and Satyadeep Misra.
Apart from this, Hrithik will return to his action mode in Fighter with Deepika Padukone. Saif, on the other hand, will be featuring in the zombie comedy Go Goa Gone 2 and Om Raut’s Adipurush.
