Netflix India has dropped the trailer for Meenakshi Sundareshwar

Abhimanyu Dassani and Sanya Malhotra are newly-weds in Madurai. However, when Sundar is hired into a Bangalore company, the couple must persist long-distance. As love moves to laptop screens, M&S must hold down their relationship while charting their individual careers and dreams.

The story of a young, family-bound couple in LDR, Meenakshi Sundareshwar features a predominantly North Indian cast. The film is directed by Vivek Soni and written by him and Aarsh Vora. It's backed by Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital wing of Dharma Productions.

Sharing her thoughts on the film, Sanya Malhotra said, "Returning to Netflix with Meenakshi Sundareshwar is like a homecoming for me after Pagglait and Ludo. Working with Abhimanyu under the direction of Vivek has been a great experience. I’m glad this film will be released on Netflix to a global audience because the film offers something for everybody,  and audiences all over the world will find the film appealing and will relate to it."

Abhimanyu, who is making his digital debut with the title, added, “I  thoroughly enjoyed working with Sanya and Vivek on Meenakshi Sundareshwar, it has been a transformational experience for me. The film beautifully sets up a tale of love, marriage, the struggles that follow, and everything in between. I hope everyone enjoys the film.”

Meenakshi Sundareshwar releases on November 5 on Netflix. You can check out the trailer here:
