Kartik Aaryan commences Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 shoot; calls it the biggest film of his career

Kartik Aaryan took to social media on Saturday to announce that he has started shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He posted a photo where he is seen praying to God and also called it the biggest film of his career. It is directed by Anees Bazmee and is the third instalment in the horror comedy series. The film also stars Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles.

Sharing the photo, Kartik wrote in the caption, “Starting The Biggest Film Of My Career Today.” Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released in 2022 and starred Kartik along with Kiara Advani and Tabu. It turned out to be successful at the box-office with a collection of over Rs 200 crore. The first film in the franchise starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in pivotal roles. It was directed by Priyadarshan and released in 2007.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is produced by Bhushan Kumar. Speaking about the film earlier, he had said, “I am very happy to be taking the franchise forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik. Together, we are set to deliver a cinematic experience that will honour the legacy of the franchise.” The film is set to hit the theatres this Diwali.
