Shah Rukh Khan about Vijay Sethupathi: He is such a humble person and a brilliant actor

Following the announcement of Jawan's new release date, actor Shah Rukh Khan did an 'Ask SRK’ session on Twitter on Saturday. While Vijay Sethupathi is playing the antagonist, Shah Rukh shared a few words about his experience working with him. 

When a Twitter user asked about working with Vijay Sethupathi, Shah Rukh wrote, "He is such a humble person and a brilliant actor. Learnt a lot from Vijay." However, the user pulled down the question, which led to speculation if Shah Rukh referred to actor Vijay, who was rumoured to play a cameo in the film. Later a screenshot of the question that circulated on the site, clarified that the actor in question is Vijay Sethupathi. 

He further added, "It was hectic and fun to shoot with Atlee Vijay & Nayan and everybody else. Really intense and fun." The film will have a worldwide release on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. 

Jawan, billed as an action thriller, is directed by Atlee. It stars Nayanthara as the female lead. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover are also said to be part of the cast. Backed by Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for the film. The film will mark the Hindi feature film debut of Anirudh Ravichander and Atlee.
