Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah , and Neena Gupta to star in Lust Stories 2; Teaser out

Netflix’s anthology series Lust Stories is returning for a second season. The makers released the teaser on Tuesday. The series will have 4 films starring Kajol, Neena Gupta, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Shubash, Tillotama Shome, Angad Bedi and Kumud Mishra among others. The anthology parts will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh.
The teaser opens with Neena Gupta playing an elderly mother drawing an analogy between choosing a partner and a car. “When you buy even a small car, do you purchase it without a test drive?” We then see glimpses from various tales in the anthology. Amruta Shubhash is seen playing a character from the working class, Kajol is flirting with a young boy, Mrunal and Angad groove in a club, Tillotama Shome is seen as a woman working in the corporate sector while Kumud Mishra is seen riding shotgun in a van.
The series is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP productions and Flying Unicorn Ent. It will start streaming from June 29.
