What a beautiful morning: Alia Bhatt reacts to James Cameron loving RRR

RRR won Best Foreign Film and Best Song ('Naatu Naatu') at the 28th Critics Choice Awards

Alia Bhatt has expressed her delight at RRR winning Best Foreign Film and Best Song (Naatu Naatu) at the 28th Critics Choice Awards and Avatar director James Cameron admiring the film. 

Commenting on an update, Alia wrote on Instagram, “Uffff what a beautiful morning.” Earlier, director SS Rajamouli had shared a couple of pictures with James Cameron and related analysing RRR with him for 10 minutes. Cameron and his wife, Suzy Amis Cameron, have seen the film twice. 

“The great James Cameron watched RRR.. He liked it so much that he recommended to his wife Suzy and watched it again with her. Sir I still cannot believe you spent a whole 10 minutes with us analyzing our movie. As you said I AM ON TOP OF THE WORLD... Thank you both,” Rajamouli tweeted. 

Alia Bhatt portrayed the character Sita in RRR. She was paired opposite Ram Charan's Alluri Sitarama Raju, a revolutionary in colonial India. The Bollywood actor had earlier dispelled rumours that she was unhappy with the team of RRR

"I am eternally grateful that I got to be a part of the world of RRR. I loved playing Sita, I loved being directed by Rajamouli Sir, I loved working with Tarak and Charan – I loved every single thing about my experience on this film,” she had posted in March last year. RRR earlier won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu, besides other honours internationally.
