GV Prakash shares glimpses of his composition for Kangana Ranaut's Emergency

Starring Kangana Ranaut, the film marks her debut as a solo director

GV Prakash shares glimpses of his composition for Kangana Ranaut's Emergency

On Saturday, music composer and actor GV Prakash took to Instagram to share a video, in which he is seen along with actor Kangana Ranaut. The video shows a small glimpse of his composition for the latter's upcoming film, Emergency

In the video, Kangana Ranaut and GV Prakash are seated on the floor. While GV Prakash is seen playing the keyboard, Kangana is in awe at his composition. In the caption, GV Prakash wrote, "Composing for Kangana Ranaut ji for Emergency. Exciting times ahead." (sic)

Emergency will mark Kangana's debut as a solo director and also features the actor as the former prime minister Indira Gandhi, showcasing her tenure during the 1970s. The film will also feature actors Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade and Vishak Nair.

Noted writer Ritesh Shah (Pink) has penned the screenplay and dialogues of the film. A Manikarnika Films presentation, Emergency is produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana. 

GV Prakash is currently composing music for a number of films including, Thangalaan, Captain Miller, Mark Antony and Japan. On the acting front, he has completed filming for Kalvan and is working on Idimuzhakkam and 13
