Lalit Modi changes profile picture, removes Sushmita Sen’s name from Instagram bio, sparks break-up rumours

Lalit Modi, the founder of the Indian Premier League (IPL), who was in news lately for dating former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, has dropped his Instagram profile picture with the actor and has also changed his bio to remove her name. This has sparked break-up rumours on the internet.

Lalit revealed about his relationship with Sushmita for the first time in July. He shared vacation photos of both of them from Maldives and spoke about marriage being on the cards.

Soon after, he changed his Instagram bio stating, "Finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47 (sic)". He had also put up his photo with Sushmita as the profile picture on the photo-sharing app.

But on Tuesday morning both his Instagram profile picture and his bio had no trace of Sushmita.

His profile picture now shows his face imprinted on the Indian flag with the letters ‘Indian Premier League’ written alongside.

“Founder @iplt20. Indian Premier League. Moon,” reads the bio.

Although both Lalit and Sushmita have not commented on the issue, netizens are speculating that the couple has parted ways.

Lalit was previously married to Minal Sagrani, whom he married in October of 1991. They have two children together - son Ruchir and daughter Aliya. He is also a stepfather to Karima Sagrani, from Minal's first marriage.

Before this, Sushmita was in a relationship with Rohman Shawl, whom she met through Instagram in 2018, but they broke up last year.
