Filming of Kartik-Kiara's Satya Prem Ki Katha begins

We had earlier reported that Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani will be teaming up for the second team for a film titled Satya Prem Ki Katha. The shooting of the film began on Saturday, the makers officially announced along with a new picture featuring the lead actors from the Muhurat. Kartik and Kiara appeared earlier in this year's hit horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Satya Prem Ki Katha is billed as a musical romantic drama film directed by Sameer Vidwans. The film was earlier titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha, but the makers opted to alter the title to avoid hurting public sentiments. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala through his production house, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, in association with Namah Pictures.

In addition to Satya Prem Ki Katha, Kartik has a handful of upcoming films, including Shehzada, the remake of Allu Arjun's 2020 Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Freddy and Captain India. Kiara, on the other hand, has Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and a Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring Ram Charan, directed by Shankar.
