Ranveer Singh, AR Rahman to perform at IPL’s closing ceremony

Ranveer Singh and AR Rahman are among the stars who will perform at the closing ceremony of the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL).

The IPL finals will take place between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 29. It will be followed by the closing ceremony. 

This isn't the only Bollywood connection at the IPL event. In addition to the performances, the trailer of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha will also be launched at the finals. The film, directed by Advait Chandan, is the official Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump.

Ranveer Singh recently appeared in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. AR Rahman was behind the soundtrack for Heropanti 2.
