Salman Khan imitator booked in Lucknow for making reels in public and 'disturbing peace'

An imitator of superstar Salman Khan was booked in Lucknow on Sunday night for making a video in a public place and allegedly disturbing peace.

The impersonator, Azam Ansari, was making an Instagram reel video at the city's historic clock tower on Sunday, which led to a traffic jam as many people gathered to see him. After a complaint by some commuters, Thakurganj police booked Azam under Sector 151 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) for breaching the peace.

Azam is popular on social media for acting out the superstar's songs in the backdrop of historic roads and monuments in Lucknow. He has over 77,000 followers on Instagram.

Often shirtless, wearing denims and donning shades, the imitator can be seen dancing to popular Salman Khan songs like 'Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din', 'Oh Oh Jane Jana' and 'Ishq Sona Hain', among others. In some of the videos, he is also seen enacting scenes from the superstar's films.
