An attempt was made to kill superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai’s Bandra by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang recently, states a report.

Earlier this week, a threat letter was also put on the bench where Salman’s father screenwriter Salim Khan sits during his morning walk at Bandra’s Bandstand. The letter had stated “Moosa Wale jaisa kar dunga (Will make you like Moose Wala)”. Lawrence Bishnoi, a criminal from Punjab, and his associate Goldy Brar are the main accused in the recent killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

As per a report by Times Network, Lawrence Bishnoi had sent a sharpshooter to Mumbai. The shooter had done a recce around Salman’s residence Galaxy. He had hidden a small-bore weapon inside a hockey stick and planned to assassinate Salman when he heads out to cycle around his neighbourhood without a bodyguard. However, the shooter retracted his plan at the last minute as a PCR vehicle was passing by.

“It would be right to say that there were more than one credible attempt to eliminate Salman Khan," said Delhi Police special cell chief HGS Dhaliwal in an interview with Times Network on being asked about the attempts made by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang on Salman.
