Actor-producer Shah Rukh Khan wrote an emotional tweet for Alia Bhatt, with whom he is co-producing the latter’s upcoming film Darlings. In the tweet, Shah Rukh said that he is “anxious” that Alia shared the responsibility of her first production with him.

“Lil one I am also so anxious that u shared the responsibility of Eternal Sunshine Productions first film with me…that I will be biting my nails till it releases. But I feel we have a lovely film and u r the soul and sunshine of all things Darlings,” tweeted Shah Rukh Khan, while sharing the film’s trailer.

Alia also had a witty reply to the tweet. Calling Shah Rukh her ‘eternal favourite actor/ person/ producer ever’, she wrote, “ Thank you for doing this with me … and post the release we can both get a manicure and pedicure since all the nails will be bitten haha! Love you the most!!!!”

Set in Mumbai, Darlings also stars Shefali Shah, Roshan Mathew, and Vijay Varma. The film is directed by debutante Jasmeet K Reen , who has also written the script along with Parveez Shaikh.
