On-screen foe, off-screen buddy: SRK wishes Pathaan co-star John Abraham, shares new still

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has wished John Abraham on his birthday by dropping a new still of the actor from Pathaan. John essays the primary antagonist against SRK in Siddharth Anand's spy thriller. This is the first film to feature the two actors together. 

In the image, John casts a mean look in a tight black leather jacket and a gun in his hand. "Everyone will come to my funeral to make sure that I stay dead," says a tattoo on the back of his right hand. 

"On-screen foe, off-screen buddy... Happy Birthday dearest @thejohnabraham," SRK wrote, sharing the image. "Watch our clash in theatres on 25th Jan in #Pathaan! Releasing in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. @deepikapadukone | #SiddharthAnand | @yrf"

Pathaan, which also stars Deepika Padukone, is set to release in theaters on January 25. The first song from the film, Besharam Rang, a sweltering beach number with Deepika and SRK, has courted controversy for the colour of its outfits.
