R Balki's Chup to release on September 23 

R Balki's Chup, described as a “romantic psychopath thriller”, will release on September 23. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol and Shreya Dhanwanthary. The makers announced the release date with two new posters. They feature Dulquer and Sunny's faces and bear the tagline, “Revenge of the Artist”. 

Speaking of the film, R Balki said, "Chup is special for more than one reason. For me the biggest reason is it marks the official debut of Amitabh Bachchan as a music composer. Amitji saw Chup and played an instinctive original melody on his piano as he relived the film. It was his way of expressing his feelings for the film, paying a tribute. This composition, his gift to the film, will be the end title track of Chup. I don’t think there can be an artist whose sensitivity can beat Bachchan’s and Chup has his touch."

Chup has been co-written by R Balki, Raja Sen and Rishi Virmani from a story from R Balki. The film is produced by Pen Studios. The makers had earlier released a teaser paying tribute to Guru Dutt.
