As India celebrates its 76th Independence Day, actor Shah Rukh Khan and his family hoisted the national flag at their residence, Mannat, in Mumbai.

It was part of the nationwide campaign, Har Ghar Tiranga, initiated by the central government that encouraged all Indians to hoist the flag at their homes from August 13 to 15.

Shah Rukh shared the flag hoisting video on Instagram and wrote, "Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly." In the video, Shah Rukh is seen with his youngest son AbRam, the elder son, Aryan, and his wife Gauri.
