Shamshera first look unveiled, Ranbir Kapoor-starrer to release on March 18

On occasion of Ranbir Kapoor's 39th birthday, Yash Raj Films shared the first look poster of Shamshera. The film, starring Ranbir and Sanjay Dutt, will hit theatres on March 18, 2022. It is directed by Karan Malhotra.

Shamshera follows a tribe of dacoits during the British Raj. Ranbir reportedly has a double role in the film. He's joined by Vaani Kapoor as a traveling dancer and performer.

Yash Raj Films recently announced three other releases for 2021-2022. These include Bunty Aur Babli 2 (November 19, 2021), Prithviraj (January 21, 2022) and Jayeshbhai Jordaar (February 25).

Ranbir's last release was Sanju in 2018. Besides Shamshera, he'll be seen in Brahmastra and Luv Ranjan's next. He is also headlining Sandeep Reddy Vanga's family drama Animal.
