Badhaai Do to release in theatres on Republic Day weekend 2022

Junglee Pictures' Badhaai Do will release in theatres on Republic Day weekend, 2022. Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, the family entertainer stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. It also has Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, Shashi Bhushan and others in the cast.

In Badhaai Do, Rajkummar essays a cop while Bhumi is a PT teacher. Announcing the release date, director Harshavardhan said, "When it comes to family entertainers especially comedy films, cinema is the ideal platform as they can be enjoyed with the entire family. We are super excited to bring ‘Badhaai Do’ in cinema halls on the Republic Day weekend. It’s a wholesome entertainer and I really hope the audiences would enjoy watching the movie as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

Badhaai Do is written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary. It's a follow-up to Junglee Pictures' 2018 hit Badhaai Ho, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta.
