Hansal Mehta lends support to Shah Rukh Khan after son's arrest 

Director Hansal Mehta has lent support to Shah Rukh Khan after the actor's son was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau. 23-year-old Aryan Khan was arrested along with seven others on Sunday from a party aboard a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. He was produced before the court on Monday.

In a tweet, Hansal said that it is 'painful' for a parent to go through such a situation. "It is painful for a parent having to deal with a child getting into trouble. It gets compounded when people begin to arrive at judgments before the law takes its course. It is disrespectful and unfair to the parent and to the parent-child relationship. With you, Shah Rukh Khan," Hansal wrote.

Earlier, Bollywood personalities like Pooja Bhatt and Suchitra Krishnamoorthy had extended support to Shah Rukh Khan after the arrest. Salman Khan also visited the actor's house on Sunday night.
