Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor test positive for Covid-19

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, sister Anshula Kapoor, and cousin Rhea Kapoor have tested positive for Covid-19. Rhea's husband, director Karan Boolani, has also tested positive. 

This is the second time Arjun has tested covid positive. The actor had last contracted the virus in 2020.

Rhea shared a health update on social media. 

She wrote, "Yes I'm positive for Covid in spite of being super careful. But this is the nature of the pandemic. Not sure why my or anyone's private health information is news or gossip. This information should be only for government and medical bodies so they can do their job and not on gossip sites. It's invasive and weird. My husband and I are isolating and taking all prescribed medications and precautions. We also watched Frozen for the first time last night. It was pretty good. Made me miss my sister too much. Everything tastes bad except chocolate, my head hurts and I'm still grateful that I got it the way I did and we will be fine in no time. For everyone reaching out to make sure we are ok, we are not too bad, thanks for checking we love you."

Arjun's father, producer Boney Kapoor, and uncle, actor Anil Kapoor, have tested negative, reports state.

Yesterday, actor Ranvir Shorey revealed on Twitter that his 10-year-old son has contracted the virus.

"My son and I were on holiday in Goa, and during the routine RT-PCR testing for the flight back to Mumbai, he has turned out to be Covid positive," Ranvir tweeted.

"We are both completely asymptomatic and have immediately quarantined until further investigations. The wave is real," he added.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, and others had tested positive for Covid-19. They have now recovered.
