Akshay Kumar shares a snap with his Atrangi Re co-star Dhanush

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share a photo of him taking a selfie with Dhanush. The two are teaming up for Atrangi Re which is scheduled to release later this year. 

Akshay Kumar's tweet was captioned saying, "Today my Atrangi Re co-star Dhanush came calling. ‘Sir, I always look up to you,’ he said. I replied, ‘I look up to your amazing talent.’ Then we both looked up. And this happened." 

Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film marks Dhanush's second collaboration with the filmmaker after the actor's Hindi debut film Raanjhanaa (2013). Also starring Sara Ali Khan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Dimple Hayathi, the film is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 24, 2021.
