Jamie Lee Curtis to guest star in The Sticky

Jamie Lee Curtis to guest star in the upcoming Amazon comedy series The Sticky. Initially, Curtis was only to be associated with the project as Executive Producer. She is now set to join the cast including Margo Martindale, Chris Diamantopoulos and Guillaume Cyr.

The Sticky will revolve around a heist that led to the loss of 70% of the world's maple product. The stranger-than-fiction story stars Martindale as a well-seasoned maple syrup farmer Ruth Laundry who is tired of the government stepping on her toes, called Ruth Laundry. She seeks the help of Remy Bouchard (Cyr) and Mike Byrne (Diamantopoulos), as she battles for her property, product and her comatose husband. While Remy is mousey security, Mike is a mobster and the two help her to didge the red tape and make the best of her maple business. The trio of clashing personalities will commit the great Canadian Maple syrup heist of all time, along the way.

Directed by Michael Dowse and Joyce Wong, The Sticky is currently being filmed in Montreal. Jason Blum will serve the series as an executive producer under his Blumhouse Television banner alongside Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, and Chris Dickie. No release date for The Sticky has been set yet.

Meanwhile, Jamie Lee Curtis, who recently won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Everything Everywhere All At Once, will next be seen in Haunted Mansions and Borderlands
