John Wick star Lance Reddick dies at 60 

The Wire and John Wick star Lance Reddick has passed away. Reddick's death has shocked and broken the hearts of fans worldwide. It remains unclear what led to the actor's death; however, law enforcement is speculating that Reddick died from natural causes. He was 60 years old.

The actor was just about to reappear on the big screen again with John Wick: Chapter 4, returning as the Continental's reliable concierge Charon. Celebrities from all around Hollywood are now mourning his passing. Reddick's The Wire co-star, Isiah Whitlock Jr., was deeply saddened by Reddick's passing, she said, "Shocked and saddened by the news that Lance Reddick has passed away. Truly heartbreaking. R.I.P. My friend. You will be missed. God speed." Wendell Pierce released a heartfelt note about all that Reddick was to him - a close friend, a consummate professional, and an immensely skilled artist. His statement read, "A man of great strength and grace. As talented a musician as he was an actor. The epitome of class. A sudden unexpected sharp painful grief for our artistic family. An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Godspeed my friend. You made your mark here. RIP."

John Wick director Chad Stahelski and series star Keanu Reeves shared their love for him through a joint statement, which read, "We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick. He was the consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly."

In addition to John Wick 4, Reddick had also recently wrapped filming for the much anticipated Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians where he played Zeus, “the all-powerful god of the sky and leader of Mount Olympus,” who is eagerly waiting for his stolen thunderbolt to be returned. Reddick's other small screen works include Fringe, Lost, Oz, and Bosch. He had also recently appeared in the Netflix series Resident Evil.
