Apple bagged the rights of Cin Fabré’s memoir Wolf Hustle: A Black Woman on Wall Street. Filmmaker Chinonye Chukwu will be adapting the literary work as a feature. Apart from directing, Chukwu will also bankroll the project under her Where’s the Fire banner alongside Entertainment 360, as per a report by Deadline.
Chinonye Chukwu is best known for the drama films Clemency and Till.
Wolf Hustle: A Black Woman on Wall Street is Cin Fabre's debut book. Cin Fabre was a dealer on Wall Street. In the memoir, she penned the triumph of black women in the male-dominant New York business world. Fabre also writes about how she struggled to find meaning in life while focusing on the business world.
According to Deadline, Chinonye Chukwu's feature is billed as a mix of The Wolf of Wall Street and The Big Short set in 1990s New York.
