Cast list announced for Henry Cavill’s WW II film

It was earlier announced that Henry Cavill would play the lead role in Guy Ritchie’s WW II film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the upcoming, he is best known for making films like the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Top Gun, and National Treasure. 

Apart from Cavill, the cast of the film also includes Eiza González, Henry Golding, Henry Zaga, Alex Pettyfer, Cary Elwes, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, and Til Schweiger. The film is based on the true story of then UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s secret WWII organisation that was created to handle covert off-the-record operations. 

The screenplay is based on the book of the same name by historian Damien Lewis. The script for the film is written by Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel, and the director. The first schedule of the film production will reportedly start in Turkey on 13 February.
