The Book of Clarence gets a release date

The Book of Clarence, the upcoming film directed by Jeymes Samuel, will release on September 22. 

According to the summary of the film, it is set in biblical times and will tell the story of Clarence, a resident of Jerusalem who attempts to capitalise on the rise of celebrity and the influence of the Messiah for his personal gain. This journey makes him realise the idea of faith. According to reports, Book of Clarence will not be a religious-based film. 

While LaKeith Stanfield plays the role of Clarence, the film also stars Omar Sy, RJ Cyler, Benedict Cumberbatch, James McAvoy, Anna Diop, Teyana Taylor, David Oyelowo, Alfre Woodard, and Marianne Jean Baptiste.
