Lisa Kudrow to star in Taika Waititi's Time Bandits

Lisa Kudrow is set to headline Taika Waititi's upcoming Apple series, Time Bandits. 

Apart from directing the show, Waititi is also onboard as the co-writer and executive producer. Based on the 1981 Terry Gilliam-directed movie of the same name, Time Bandits follows the time-travelling adventures of an 11-year-old history buff named Kevin who, one night, stumbles on six dwarfs who emerge from his closet.

Waititi's reiteration of Time Bandits also stars Kal-El Tuck, Charlyne Yi, Tadhg Murphy, Roger Jean Nsengiyumva, Rune Temte, Kiera Thompson and Rachel House. 

The 10-episode series, which has been in development since 2019, is co-produced by Paramount Television Studios, Anonymous Content's AC Studios and MRC Television.
