Prime Video’s Reacher season 2 begins filming

Amazon Prime Video series Reacher has reportedly started filming the second season of the show. Alan Ritchson, who plays the titular Jack Reacher, confirmed the news with a picture of himself on set.

The series is an adaptation of the Jack Reacher book series written by Lee Child. The popular book series was already developed into a film franchise starring Tom Cruise in the lead. However, the Prime Video series is not connected to the film franchise.

The Reacher series was developed for Amazon Prime Video by Nick Santora, he is known as the writer/producer of many superhit shows like The Sopranos, Prison Break, and Law and Order. The first season of the show received unanimous praise, following which it was renewed for a second season.

Apart from Ritchson in the lead, the series also stars Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Bruce McGill, and Maria Sten in supporting roles. The series was renewed for an eight-episode second season in February 2022, the makers are yet to reveal a release date for season 2.
