Trailer out for Disney animated film Strange World

Disney releases the first official trailer for their upcoming animated film titled Strange World. According to the makers of the film, Strange World is “inspired by classic adventure stories.” 

The original animated film follows the Clade family, who are pushed to go on an adventure and end up overcoming their differences while exploring a strange new world where everything tries to kill them. The film is directed by Don Hall, who had previously co-directed successful Disney films like Winnie the Pooh, Big Hero 6, Moana, and the recently released Raya and the Last Dragon. The film is written by Qui Nguyen, who is also credited as a co-director.

Strange World has an ensemble voice cast that includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White, Gabrielle Union, and Lucy Liu.

Strange World is the 61st animated film from Walt Disney Animation studios. The film is currently scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 23 November 2022.
